When her beloved Captain David is struck down by Gram Blaze, she swears revenge, and continually chases after Garlot's life with a passion. Garlot himself does not bear any particular ill will against her; rather, he empathizes with her grief. However, his feelings only serve to exasperate Cerica's hatred.
Cerica was an orphan adopted by David, and her habit of speaking in the third person is meant to be her show of gratitude for the name he gave her.
