A bounty hunter born in Nyllard Desert, the leader of the Mizer Family group of bounty hunters. He has chin-length green hair and light brown eyes, and is on the short side.

He's incredibly cheerful but has a strong sense of self-preservation, and most times he appears he'll retreat once his morale is lowered past a certain point. Very famous for his battle cries "Yahooey!" "Why yooooouuuu!!" and "This is bye-bye!"

He has as many equipped items as he does appearances, but the player must steal, break, or force him to drop each item in order to get him to show up with the next one, so collecting all of them takes planning.

Yggdra has a high bounty on her head, so Mizer often appears to try to capture her, and always aims straight for her. He shows up starting from Chapter 2. But he actually tries to catch other enemies of the empire too, such as Cruz. Blaze Union explores his connection to the Imperial Army.

Mizer's hobby is collecting shoes, and he apparently spends all his bounty money on new pairs. Since all of his equipped items are shoes, fans sometimes joke that he's the resident shoe salesman.

When Mizer realizes he's no longer strong enough to tangle with the Royal Army he stops interfering in the war altogether, making him the only enemy character guaranteed to survive.

In Yggdra Unison, Mizer joins Pamela as a member of her Forest Frontline Forces.

Here Mizer is a pickpocket with a bounty on his head, but like Garlot he only targets the rich and never harms the weak. He's known as Mizer the Barefoot.

When Mizer was a child, his family was too poor to afford shoes, so he goes barefoot even as an adult so that he won't forget what it felt like to be impoverished. Due to his empathy for Bronquia's poor, he's sworn never to wear shoes until the day the empire is successfully reformed.

After Gulcasa's successful revolution in the game's canon route, Mizer chooses to become a bounty hunter instead of joining the army because his personality is a poor fit for the military. But even so, he still supports his friends from afar, and becomes a great shoe lover in the newly peaceful Bronquia.

Perhaps the real reason he goes after Yggdra and Cruz in Yggdra Union isn't because of the price of their bounties, but because he wants to help his old friend Gulcasa to the best of his ability.

Mizer is a bow-type unit. His default final stats are 4/5/5/2, for an total of 16 stars, about average for player units in this game. Because LUK is his only really low stat, he's a stable choice in battle, but it's best to boost his stats with doping items or MVP if you plan to use him a lot.

Trivia

For some reason, Mizer has the same voice actor as Nessiah in both games.
