Production Overview

Released in two volumes on 1 September 2008 and 10 June 2009, Nisemonogatari contains two stories : Karen Bee and Tsukihi Phoenix.

An anime adaption by Studio Shaft was announced the same time as Kizumonogatari receiving an anime movie adaption. The anime will being airing in TokyoMX on 7 January 2012 12:00 AM (Japan).

Story

After the events of Bakemonogatari, Koyomi Araragi spends his summer holidays in a series of events involving his two younger sisters : Karen and Tsukihi.

Karen Araragi (阿良々木火憐, Araragi Karen)

The older sister and the main heroine of Karen Bee. Karen is hot-headed girl who tends to act first before thinking and loves outdoor activities. Despite being younger than Koyomi, she is much taller than her brother.
Tsukihi Araragi (阿良々木月火, Araragi Tsukihi)
CV : Yuka Iguchi
The youngest of the Araragi family and the main heroine of Tsukihi Phoenix. Unlike Karen, she prefers indoor activities but is just as hot-headed as her older sister.
