Overview
Steel type (はがねタイプ, hagane taipu) is a type in the Pokémon series. Pokémon may have one to two types, and one type is always a technique.
The affinity of the type is one of the factors that determine the advantage or disadvantage of the battle.
Steel type is one of the types introduced in Pokémon Gold and Silver (generation 2).
It comes after the dark type both in Japanese syllabary order and in English, so it can be considered the 17th type.
