Overview
The Powerpuff Girls (パワーパフガールズ, Pawapafu Gāruzu) is a American animated series broadcasted in 178 countries around the world, it was a huge breakout hit with children and is one of Cartoon Network's most popular works, along with Tom & Jerry. It started out as heroes known as the Whoopass Girls in the short film Whoopass Stew! The Whoopass Girls in: A Sticky Situation, produced by Craig McCracken, the original writer and general director of the film. The title was later changed to the current title and production began as a stand-alone work.
