Overview
Age (年齢/ねんれい, nenrei, lit "Year Age" / エイジ, eiji) is the number of years elapsed since birth. The unit is "years."
It is an important factor that expresses a person's social positioning.
If you were born on February 29, you will be one year older at 24:00 on February 28. You are free to celebrate your birthday on February 28 or March 1. In the case of full age, it is possible for a person to be the same age but born in a different year, or to be one year older but not yet reach their birthday.
